Homemade Baby Food VS Jarred Baby Food?
There are many questions parents face today when they are dealing with their babies. Shots, no shots, spanking, no spanking, bottle or breast, which doctor to see, when to go back to work or maybe stay home with your child, searching for the right daycare provider, schooling, and family help, however what I want to talk about is baby food. Should you feed your baby homemade or jarred baby food?
By the time your child is 4 to 6 months old, you start to think about what kinds of foods you want to feed your child. If jarred or homemade baby food is the best way for you to go? You really need to weigh your options to make an informed decision. In the end you will be making a choice which will be right for you and your child.
Many mothers out there choose to feed their babies jarred food which is a normal choice. It is quick and easy to find a jar in the grocery store and just pop it in the microwave. Then you are ready to feed your baby. But you are forced to choose between brands and kinds of food you want to feed your child.
A lot of moms don’t have the time with their busy schedules so whatever you choose to do, make sure it’s easier on you. I had chosen jarred food for my first child. It made things a lot easier for me at the time and I was a new mom so I didn’t know much difference. This was the choice I made for my first child, but once I had my next child I had decided I wanted to try my hand at homemade baby food. What I want to do is give you another option, you could look at.
Homemade baby food has become really popular in the last few years. It saves you money and it is a lot healthier. You know exactly what goes into the baby food you make. You don’t have to worry about serving your child unwanted preservatives. You really don’t have to make something different than what you are eating at that meal. Of course the first few months you will introducing one food at a time. It will be pureed to a mush so your child can eat it.
I fed my daughter and twins homemade baby food and honestly it was the easy thing and healthiest thing I did for them. You got to remember whatever you choose to make. Make sure it is the right choice for you and your child.
